A small case study: Myotoxicity of local anesthetics is equivalent in people with and without liability to malevolent hyperthermia
Malignant hyperthermia (MH) is a hereditary muscle disorder caused by anomalous elevations of Ca2+ or intracellular calcium in skeletal muscle. There are several myotoxicity reports giving rise to national anesthetic substances and the enlarged intracellular Ca2+ which is considered to be an essential cause. This study scrutinized the consequence of MH susceptibility on myotoxicity.
